The company started business in the showroom of stationery, printing and spare parts in providing services to large scale industries developed in Aceh in general and Aceh Utara as the prevailing coverage area.
In accordance with the development and increased demands of industrial services and supply chain within Aceh, beginning October 13, 1988 Firma Benua was upgraded to be PT. Benua Marga Jaya. With the new entity, the core business of the company was primarily focused on supplying machineries, instrumentation, and mechanical as well as construction services
